About Sarah
Sarah graduated from Michigan State University with a BFA in Stage Management/Design with a minor in Arts and Cultural Management. She is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and has been a freelance stage manager for 10 years.
She recently closed a touring production of Dominique Morisseau's Detroit'67 with Detroit Public Theatre. Sarah was the PSM for the EMMY nominated opera-musical hybrid by Grammy Award winning song-writer, Marcus Hummon entitled Favorite Son that was produced at the Nashville Opera. She also acts as the Technical Director for Stoney Creek High School producing large scale musical productions each spring for the last 6 years with over 100 high school students. This year the company produced a sold out run of Les Misérables.
When not stage managing or teaching, Sarah freelances as a makeup artist and wig designer working with clients for musical theatre, opera and wedding parties/brides.
Sarah holds a certificate of completion as a Trained Crowd Manager through the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) and has acted as an event manager on many different scale events/industrials all around the United States.
